KENMORE BOTTOM-MOUNT REFRIGERATOR MODEL: 59676063701

I recently installed a jazz board on a Kenmore bottom-mount refrigerator model #: 59676063701.

This is the same jazz board and procedure as described in the Samurai's 5-part series of "Fixing a warm Amana bottom-mount refrigerator-replacing the jazz board" video series.

This was the first control board of this type I have installed and everything went fine except for one thing.

When I opened the new jazz board there is a line scored on the board which is supposed to snap apart so you can separate the main section of the board from the section that connects to the LED's for the user interface. They are connected by wires but must be bent/turned around to instal as the Samurai does in video #2 of this series. But the 2 sections did not want to snap apart where the line is scored, and I assume you are to simply push on them to snap the 2 sections apart. They would not snap apart for the life of me.  What I ended up doing was running my exacto blade down the line on both sides of the board until finally there was some give and it did snap in two.

This took me about 15-20 minutes to score the line myself and was awkward and cumbersome and I was worried about zapping the board by accidentally touching it and causing a static short.  Has anyone ever run into this problem and do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks. I appreciate any advice.

This is the board I' am referring to Part number: W10503278

LG Dryer DLE4801W

Oh wise sages in the art and science of Appliantology.  I would be most grateful for a service manual for the above mentioned LG dryer.

The machine starts then dies.  I can sometimes get it to dry if I keep hitting start.  It seems random.  Sometimes it will run, others it won't.

I looked for a tech sheet and there was none in the console.  I have no information on this machine.

Thank you so much....

FPHD2481KF1 - FRIGIDIARE DISHWASHER - MULITPLE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS

1st visit - dishwasher unresponsive, unplugged, replugged, lights would come on, touch panel unresponsive, lights would go out.

Told customer I would return with computer and touch panel.

2nd visit - Tried touch panel first, unresponsive, reinstalled old touch panel, installed new computer, touch panel now responsive.

Attempted to start dishwasher in normal mode, computer relay clicked, dishwasher sat there doing nothing.

Checked float switch and hi limit thermostat, all worked fine, door latch/lock fine.

I was able to start diagnostics and when I advanced through the steps, it said the Hall sensor, and thermistor/turbidity sensor were defective.

Im going back with a motor and turbidity sensor, but what are the chances that the main computer, motor, and turbid sensor would go out at the same time???

I checked the wires out, I didn't get too crazy looking at them, but they seemed ok, however, I know they can still be bad.

Anyone??

K/A 30" slide in Kess907sss02 trips therm fuse when self cleaned

Original complaint from customer was that the oven control was inoperative but the burners all operated normally. I found the thermal overload tripped, replaced the overload and left unit in self clean. The unit has good air flow and no mechanical failures I could find. Customer called within 2 hours said unit was working correctly when he had checked at about one and a half hours of operation. Customer checked later and control is dead again. The airflow kit for the kesa models does not apply to this according to tech line. Does anyone out there have experience with these Kess's doing this? I am considering making a air baffle to force more air flow towards the high limit.

Frigidaire affinity dryer FAQE7001LW that shuts down after a couple minutes.

Hello to all,
I have a strange issue with a Frigidaire affinity dryer FAQE7001LW that shuts down after a couple minutes. The dryer does heat up and everything seems fine. But also I can not get it into the error code mode. I'm thinking that it is a control board issue, but I'm not sure. I did have the machine apart and checked the sensors and heating element all were fine, I also unplugged and replugged everything back in, but I get the same result, it will run for 2-3 minuets then stop, and PAU (pause) will flash in the window for a second, then it switches back to the time remaining in the cycle. Like I said there does not seem to any error codes nor can I run a diagnostic cycle either. But the times and different display settings seem correct. The machine was unplugged for about 30 minuets while I checked things out and cleaned out the inside (I thought that this might reset it but it did not do anything for it). Also in the picture of the control board I see a very large flash of light (spark) inside the relay when either the dryer starts or shuts down...
Any thoughts will be appreciated

Also the door switch chesck out fine...
Thany you for all input and suggestions

LG Dryer DLE4801W randomly dies

Last night I encountered an LG dryer. the complaint is it seems to just die at random intervals. Just before it dies the motor changes sound ever so slightly and there's clicking coming from the controller and the console.I have no experience with these LG machines and can use all the help I can get. I'm thinking I may have a motor or controller issue, both of which are expensive. if I'm persistent, and keep pressing the start button,I can get the machine to complete the cycle and dry some clothes.
thank you for any help you can offer....

GE stack washer GTUP240GM4WW

Hey guys.
Basically, the washer stays 'stuck' in spin mode.
Any wash cycle selection I choose starts normally. Washer fills up and begins to agitate. After some time, washer starts to drain normally and then starts to spin normally. Then the spin cycle is over and the inner tub comes to a stop-normal.
This is when it starts messing up..
Starts to fill, like it's going into rinse mode, as it's doing this it keeps shifting the inner tub every couple seconds, which seems normally like its trying to loosen the spun clothes and saturate them. It does this for about 1-2 minutes, filling and turning, but only ends up putting about two inches of water in the tub, Then, the drain pump kicks on, and after a few 'sensing' spins of the tub, it ramps up to full speed spin for about 5 minutes. Then the cycle repeats about five times until last spin finishes and the lid unlocks itself. Never goes back into agitate.
The only time the actuator (fork support?) is not energized is during the initial 'normal' agitate and when the whole cycle is complete so the shifter hub and pully gear stay meshed basically the whole time.
Replaced computer and it still does the same thing.
Only error code I got was about a loose belt (but only after running it about 5 times), which could be related to the optical sensor, according to sparse tech sheet. I did see a slight wobble in the motor pulley, but not sure how it would relate since motor still ramps up to full speed..
Not the friendliest customer either, so I'm looking to get this job finished ASAP!

110.25062500 - Leak?

I have a Kenmore Elite 110.25062500 washer.

There is a spout of sorts connected to the tub. Connected to that spout, is a plastic bag. It's very thin and has an opening to go over the spout and then hooks around a clip on the spout. What does this bag do? I can't find anything about it.

Often, water will drip out of that spout and into the bag...and then out the bottom on to the floor. It's actually enough water that it would cause damage over time. It's not just a few drips. Suggestions? Solutions? Thanks!!!

Maytag Neptune laundry problems MLE2000AYW

Hi,

Some background(posted elswhere);

1rst problem; stopped just before each spin...nudge forward 1 click-goes through to next cycle-nudge, and on and on.

Had insurance..so repairman replaced timer..left...Didn't even try it(New Years Eve).

Tried to do a load..no change, same problem.

Tried another load and all hell broke loose. Now water runs continuously as in rinse cycle. will not shut off unless I open door. Tried several cycles with door open and close button actuated. Water will not shut off unless I release door close button.

Gave up, called repairman back..replaced timer again(7 days later), also control board in front panel. Still the same. He gave up..called Whirlpool tech, they told him it needs main control panel(located in dryer cabinet). Ordered part and left.

On day of next service(6 days later) I got a call from Ins saying repair not cost effective so they are sending me a check for $348 replacement/buy back clause.

So here I am, mechanically able to repair myself if viable. I would appreciate any and all advice/instructions/possibilities.

So...this led to replacing main control board. Worked fine for about 5 loads.

Now on this load it appears pump is not running. Went to get finished load out and was still wet(some water in bottom). Tried several different spin/empty cycles. Timer advances, tries to spin but spin shuts down. Washer stays on, but won't spin(keeps trying). Loud hum like motor trying to start(pump?). Or could be malfunctioning circuitry hum. Looking for troubleshooting info.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hal

Kenmore Dishwasher 665.13153K701(Whirlpool) Won't Drain

I have a Kenmore Elite 665.13153K701 dishwasher, and at the end of the cycle, it doesn't drain.  There's a pool of water, but it's not deep, about a half inch above the floor of the unit.

It WILL drain if I press the Cancel/Drain button, you can see a nice jet of water shooting through the garbage disposal.  Then the pool of water is gone.

This issue hasn't really been a problem, it just concerns me and I think it's not allowing the dishes to dry as well as it should.

I did some research, and things were pointing me in the direction of a new board.  My wife was also swearing it was randomly ending in the middle of a cycle and not cleaning.  So I shot the parts cannon at it with a $60 board through Sears Parts (I know, I know) and replaced it, but the draining issue is still there.

I can't see a check valve replacement part, and the it will drain manually.

What am I missing?

Thanks for the help.
